Once upon a time, in a big blue pond, there lived a happy little fish named Frankie. Frankie had shiny scales and loved to play in the cool water. One sunny day, while playing tag with his best friend, Bailey the frog, Frankie saw something strange. It was a big red shoe, floating on the water.
"What's this?" Frankie asked, poking the shoe with his fin. "It's a human thing, a shoe!" Bailey replied with a wide smile. "But what's it doing in our pond?" The two friends decided to ask Mommy, the wise old fish who knew so much.
Mommy swam up to them with a gentle smile. "That shoe can be a fun toy, but it belongs to a little boy who might be sad without it," she explained. "Why don't you two play with the shoe for a bit, and then we can return it to the land together?" Frankie and Bailey were excited about their new toy. They pushed the shoe around, jumped over it, and even turned it into a little house.
As the sun started to set, Mommy called Frankie and Bailey to the shore. "It's time to give back the shoe," she said. Just then, a shadow loomed over them. It was a shark! But it wasn't a scary shark; it was a friendly shark, and it had seen the boy looking for his shoe. "I can help return it," said the shark with a toothy grin.
The shark carefully took the shoe in its mouth and swam towards the beach. Frankie, Bailey, and Mommy followed, swimming as fast as they could. When they reached the shore, they saw the little boy. The shark gently placed the shoe by his feet. The boy was so happy that he laughed and clapped his hands, which made Frankie and Bailey feel very proud.
Frankie and Bailey learned that returning something that wasn't theirs brought joy to others. Mommy was happy too and said, "Just like you returned the lost shoe, it's important to put things where they belong, even when it's time for potty training." Frankie and Bailey giggled, realizing that potty training was very fun, especially when you made someone as happy as the little boy with his red shoe.
