Once upon a time, in a cozy little house by a green park, lived a girl named Jenny and her best friend Tim. They loved playing outside, especially with Tim's bright red ball. One sunny afternoon, they decided to bake a cake with Jenny's mom for their favorite teacher.
While the cake was baking, smelling sweet and yummy, Jenny and Tim ran outside to play with the ball. Tim was wearing his favorite blue trousers with big pockets. They laughed and kicked the ball, and it sailed high into the sky. But oh no! Tim’s ball got stuck in a tall tree!
They tried to jump and reach it, but they were too small. Tim's face turned as red as his ball; he was about to cry. Just then, Jenny had an idea! She remembered her teacher wearing glasses that made her look very smart. "Tim, maybe we can see better how to get the ball down with glasses like our teacher! Let's go back and ask her for help!" she exclaimed.
Back inside, their teacher helped them put the finishing touches on the cake. Then, she put on her glasses and looked out at the tree. “Hmm," she said, "How about we use a long stick to poke the ball down?" Jenny and Tim clapped their hands. They raced outside and found a long stick. With a little help from their teacher, they poked at the ball and down it tumbled!
They all laughed and went back inside to enjoy the cake. It was the best cake ever because it tasted like victory and friendship. Tim learned that day that no problem is too big when you have friends to help. And from deep inside his trouser pocket, he pulled out a little toy he found while looking for the stick. It was a small surprise that made them all giggle even more.
As they ate, their teacher smiled behind her glasses and said, “You know, the best part of any day is spending time with friends." And everyone agreed, feeling happy and full of cake.
