The Circus of Veggie Friends

Once upon a time in a bright, colorful garden, there lived an aubergine named Amanda and a cucumber named Emily. They were the best of friends and loved to play among the flowers. One sunny day, they heard exciting sounds coming from the nearby meadow. “What is that noise?” asked Amanda, her purple skin shimmering in the sun. “Let’s go find out!” replied Emily, her green stripes glistening with joy.

As they waddled closer, they discovered a big circus tent! Bright lights and cheerful music danced in the air. Amanda’s heart raced with happiness. “I wonder what fun things are happening inside!” she exclaimed. Just as they were about to peek in, they spotted a tiny snake named Michelle, who looked a bit lost. “Hello!” called Emily. “Are you okay?”

Michelle looked up, her scales shining in the bright light. “I was trying to find my way to the circus, but I got tangled up in the tall grass,” she said sadly. Amanda and Emily felt a spark of friendship. “Join us! Let’s go to the circus together!” they cheered. But as they turned to enter the tent, they noticed a big sign saying, “Only one friendly veggie can enter at a time!” What would they do?

Amanda the aubergine took a deep breath. “I’ll go in first!” she said, her heart fluttering with excitement. She pushed the curtain aside and stepped into the circus tent. Inside, there were colorful balloons floating everywhere and a big, shiny stage. A funny clown, with a bright red nose, waved at Amanda and made her giggle. “Welcome! Would you like to see some magic?” he asked, winking playfully. Amanda nodded eagerly, her purple skin shimmering with joy.

Amanda's eyes sparkled with excitement as she looked around the tent filled with magical wonders. Suddenly, she remembered her friends, Emily and Michelle. "I should find something fun for all of us!" she thought. Then, she noticed a big bunch of colorful balloons floating in the corner. Maybe there was something special hidden behind them! With a big smile, Amanda tiptoed over to the balloons, her heart racing with curiosity.

Amanda reached out and touched the balloons, and to her surprise, the clown walked over with a twinkle in his eye. “Would you like to solve a riddle?” he asked in a cheerful voice. Amanda clapped her hands in delight. “Yes, please! What’s the riddle?” The clown grinned and said, “I have keys but open no locks. I have space but no room. What am I?” Amanda thought really hard, her little brow furrowing. Then she remembered her friends! “I know! It’s a piano!” she squealed, jumping up and down.
