The Snowman's Melody

Once upon a time, in a cozy little town blanketed with soft, white snow, there was a snowman named Melody. Melody was not an ordinary snowman. He had a magical top hat and two shiny coal eyes, which sparkled with life. His best friend was a young girl named Sarah. Sarah had built Melody one snowy afternoon, and from that day, they became the best of friends.

Sarah loved to play her piano. It was big and black, and when she pressed the keys, music danced in the air. Melody, with his stick hands, wished he could play too. Sarah noticed Melody's longing and had a wonderful idea. "We'll have a piano concert tomorrow!" she declared.

The next day, Sarah placed a watermelon next to Melody. It was cut into big slices, looking like a smile. Sarah said, "This is for you, Melody. You can use it as a keyboard to practice!" With a gentle touch, Melody's twig hand tapped on the watermelon slices, pretending to play piano. Every time he touched a slice, it made a funny "plump" sound, and they both giggled. Sarah played a sweet melody on her piano, and Melody swayed his branches as if he was playing along.

As the stars twinkled above, the magical top hat on Melody's head started to glow, and to Sarah's surprise, beautiful music came from the watermelon! It sounded just like a piano. Sarah played her piano, and Melody played his watermelon piano. They created a symphony together, and the whole town stopped to listen to the wonderful music.

They played until the moon was high in the sky, and it was time for Sarah to go to bed. "Goodnight, Melody," Sarah whispered. "You're the best snowman pianist in the world." Melody winked one coal eye, and as Sarah went inside, her heart was full of joy. That night, the town fell asleep to the sweet sound of The Snowman's Melody, dreaming of watermelons and soft snowflakes.
